Chapter 1 General Provisions

Article 1

This law is specially formulated to protect intellectual property rights, optimize the business environment, properly handle intellectual property and commercial cases, and promote national scientific and technological and economic development.

Article 2

The Intellectual Property and Commercial Court handles the following matters in accordance with the law:

1. Civil, criminal and administrative litigation over intellectual property.

2. Commercial civil litigation and non-litigation matters.
