Article 3

A company shall have its domicile at its place of business.

The term "company" as used in this Act refers to the head office first established by the company in accordance with the law to govern the entire organization; the term "branch" refers to the branch office subject to the jurisdiction of the company.

Article 4

The term "foreign company" as used in this Act refers to a company that is organized and registered in accordance with foreign laws for the purpose of profit.

Foreign companies, within legal restrictions, have the same rights and capabilities as companies in the Republic of China.

Article 5

The competent authority referred to in this Law: in the central government, it is the Ministry of Economic Affairs; in municipalities, it is the municipal government.

The central competent authority may appoint subordinate agencies, entrust or entrust other agencies to handle matters stipulated in this Act.
